The award for design that thinks ahead
The German Design Award is considered one of the most prestigious design awards due to its broad range of expertise. Since 2012, it has recognized and presented significant design trends to a wide audience. In 2023, our sustainable SLOW WOOL Collection designed by Angelika Frenademetz received the “Winner” award in the categories of Excellent Product Design and Eco Design.

Among many others, we have also applied with our SLOW WOOL Collection for the German Design Award 2023. As a sustainable company, our products and our focus on deceleration and conscious consumption provide an answer to one of today's greatest challenges: the protection of our environment.
Our courage has been rewarded – and we are absolutely delighted. We were named “Winner” in the Excellent Product Design and Eco Design categories – the award ceremony took place in Frankfurt am Main in February 2023.

Statement of the jury
Real added value through unique design
The German Design Council, which was established as a foundation back in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag, presents the award year after year. Its mission: to represent the design scene in the German-speaking world. Since its founding, the Council has supported industry in achieving added brand value through design and has thus become the German brand and design authority.
Awards are given to products and companies in the three categories “Excellent Product Design,” “Excellent Communications Design” and “Excellent Architecture” – these cover all areas of everyday life and reflect the diversity of our design culture.
