SLOWLI Concept is among the ‘Major Brands in Germany’
SLOWLI is featured in the German Design Council’s latest annual publication, ‘Die großen Marken in Deutschland’ (The Major Brands in Germany). Titled ‘recreate. transform. be resilient.’, it primarily honours brands that focus on sustainability. The award was accepted by Angelika Frenademetz, interior designer and founder of SLOWLI Concept, at the design gala in Berlin on 12 October.
SLOWLI is described as a young company with growth potential, thanks to our strong focus on sustainable furniture and textiles and our ‘Slow Living’ approach.
The German Design Council has been a global authority on communication and knowledge transfer in design, branding and innovation since 1953. With its international offers, support for young designers and memberships, it is part of the global design community and has always contributed to establishing exchanges and networks worldwide.

German Design Council Annual Report
The German Design Council has included SLOWLI in its latest annual report, ‘Die großen Marken in Deutschland’ (The Major Brands in Germany). Since 2013, the series has featured outstanding companies. Lutz Dietzold, managing director of the German Design Council, explains, ‘In addition to an innovative product or service and a recognisable identity, a sustainability strategy is now seen as a prerequisite for a brand’s success.’
For the first time, the book was published in cooperation with Callwey Verlag and presents leading brands in a high-quality finish with journalistically prepared content. The 2023 edition is now available in stores.
